Real people just being themselves.
In the making of the film, we were so concerned about honestly portraying the experience of competitive wrestling that we auditioned people who actually lived the parts.

The two lead characters -- Danny Mousetis as Leo Leone and Justin Spates as Thurman Ellis, Jr. -- are, in fact, championship wrestlers. Because of that, not only are the emotions real, but the wrestling scenes in the movie are authentic.
